What Makes Our Salt Real
Authentic Himalayan pink salt is a hand-mined rock salt from the Khewra Salt Mine in Pakistan’s Punjab region — one of the world’s oldest and largest salt deposits. Its natural pink color comes from trace minerals including magnesium & potassium present in the salt itself, not from added dyes or colorants.
“Authentic” in the wholesale market means: mined at source, minimally processed, no dyes or anti-caking chemicals, and traceable back to the deposit. Anything else — including salt colored with iron oxide, or blended pink salt cut with sea salt — is not the real thing.
